I was raised in a small, blue-collar, Alaskan town. It was a culture that hastened boys through adolescence yet
didn’t seem to produce enough real masculinity. All that stoic, self-made, womanizing, overly sarcastic, machismo ideology worked well on a boat, or job site, but never amounted to much in the family.
After 13 years of marriage to my best friend, Angela, having three daughters, completing an undergraduate
degree, and more than 10 years in full-time youth work (both secular and sacred sector); we now live on the
Olympic Peninsula in WA state - mentoring incarcerated men, pregnant women, and at-risk youth. For the last four years, CanaVox has equipped me to parent more confidently, grow in compassion, and communicate effectively – in a cultural minefield of controversial topics.

Jeff's mission is to see kids thrive in a challenging and painful world. After a career in business that included nearly taking his company public on the Nasdaq. God called Jeff to help kids. To this end, Jeff conducted qualitative research with over 3,000 kids, conducted seminars in over 100 churches, and coached hundreds of families. Jeff is the Founder of Revive Family. The author of two books Going, Going, Gone, and The One Rule Home and has a bachelor’s degree in marketing, a minor in economics, and a Master’s in Biblical leadership with an emphasis in theology.

Drew Dixon is the team leader for ongoing Bible studies at Lifeway Students. Drew served 2 local churches before coming to lead in the student area at Lifeway. Drew is also the co-founder of Love Thy Nerd, and the author of "Know Thy Gamer: A Parent's Guide to Video Games."

Bishop Alex is a well sought out leader and agent of change, currently working with churches, political, and academia organizing for national repentance in the USA. He is a great marriage counselor, teacher, and preacher of the Word of GOD. He is married to Prudence Mwaluma for 19 years and has 3 children.
Trey Brooks
Trey is Co-Director of Equip to Engage and travels full-time in ministry with his family to equip, encourage and connect children’s leaders. He does this through SPARK, leadership retreats, weekend events, specialized resources and speaking at children’s camps. He is a graduate of Southern Nazarene University and Nazarene Theological Seminary, is an Ordained Elder and is StrengthsFinder Advocate. Trey is married to Candice and they have three children.
Nick Dalgardno
Nick has been in full time church ministry for over 18 years in the Pacific Northwest. He has served throughout the church in various pastoral roles including being a catalyst for growth as the Executive Pastor of a large multi-site church. Currently, he is on the pastoral staff at New Community Church near Seattle. He is highly committed to partnering with churches, teams, and individuals to bring health, simplicity and increased effectiveness. His insatiable curiosity enables him to discover and understand organizational culture at a deep level and distill customized, client-centered solutions for organizational growth and development. Nick and his wife, Johannah, have been married for 12 years and have two kids. They enjoy time as a family hiking and spending time on home remodel projects or exploring new places by booking food tours and staying at unique Airbnb’s.
Mike Hicks
Mike Hicks is the Director of LIFT America (Lasting Impact Fellowship for Teachers), an outreach ministry of CEAI (Christian Educators Association International). LIFT and CEAI are a part of a national movement to empower, encourage and equip Christians working in our public schools, something greatly needed in our country right now.
