Shannon Anderson has taught for 25 years, from first grade through college level. She's an award-winning teacher and author who has been featured on the Today Show, Good Morning America, and in USA today. She is a frequent keynoter and loves to do author visits to inspire young readers and writers. Shannon has written over a dozen books and has spoken at over 100 events. Many seek her out as a coach for teachers and as a mentor for aspiring writers.

Carolyn is a bilingual consultant who specializes in Goal-Execution Coaching. As a Licensed Professional Counselor she knows how to help organizations move out of crisis and into success. Her approach to making changes is palatable to leaders because she takes the organization's best ideas and plots out a plan of how to walk step-by-step into the organization's best future. Carolyn provides coaching, consulting, and institutional therapy to organizations large and small. Carolyn is also currently a Pastor over Wholeness and Marriage Ministries at Rolling Hills Community Church where she oversees mental health and marriage enrichment programs. In this role she provides supervision to a lay team of over 50 people, leads anxiety or trauma-recovery groups and provides triage to individuals seeking mental health or marital help.

The band and its songwriting community is a collection of musically-gifted artists, worship leaders, and musicians from Crossroads and its extended family. Our vision is to equip and support worship leaders with quality songs and resources that can inspire worship in any context and can draw people toward life with Jesus. The Responding Band and its songwriters have written and recorded three albums – “Your Kingdom Is Here” (2014), “No Name Is Higher” (2017), and “It’s Only You” (2019).

Sherri loves to garden, read historical fiction, play a little tennis and most of all hang out with her family and friends, even better if it is at a beautiful campground in the Rocky Mountains.

Sherri has been married to her husband, Rusty, for 34 years and they have 4 young adult children and 2 dogs. She recently traded in her suburban life for adventures in downtown Nashville, TN.

Thomas Speckhardt is the founder of YouthCompass International. (www.youthcompass.org) YouthCompass supports international youth and families in highly mobile environments. Through local activities and partnerships with developing countries, YouthCompass challenges adults and youth to serve and gain a truly global perspective. Thomas works with the corporate, diplomatic, and educational communities to raise the level of support for expatriate families on assignment, and speaks around the world on transition and cross-cultural dynamics. In 2014 he was asked to serve Youth for Christ International in the role of Director of International Youth Ministry on the World Leadership Team. In that role he is responsible to develop and support ministry to cross-cultural youth across the YFC family of nations. Thomas has lived and worked in an expatriate setting for 29 years and is an adult CCK (Cross Cultural Kid). Together with his wife he has raised four Third-Culture Kids (TCK’s).

Sarah Ferraro is the Membership Manager at MOPS International. She lives in sunny, Orange County, Calif., and is currently in her seventh year serving as a MOPS Coordinator.

She’s passionate about her work of guiding moms toward the community. She creates inspiring tools that help moms navigate the journey of motherhood,

and strengthen their relationship with Jesus so that they can truly be the best version of themselves. When she’s not immersed in MOPS, you can find her playing games with her three kiddos and hubby, taking a run, or enjoying a good conversation with friends. Plus, she’s a firm believer that EVERY day must begin with A LOT of coffee and french vanilla creamer.

Jason specializes in helping churches jump into the Digital Mission Field as well as improve their digital outreach.

With all that the pandemic has thrown churches into, Jason has been coaching and consulting ministries on how to utilize all the tools available. Jason is also a Business Development Agent for Interactive Life- building apps for churches, schools, and businesses.

Jason has also been a youth pastor and later a music pastor in Michigan, Ohio, Washington, and Georgia with church staffs ranging from 300-5500 in regular attendance with various denominations.  With over 27 years in ministry,

Jason has learned what the church needs from its staff and what staff needs from church leadership. 

This perspective makes him uniquely qualified to connect churches with tools that help them accomplish their mission and vision.

Kelli Smith is the Director of Membership & Strategic Partnerships at MOPS International. She's been heavily involved in MOPS for 13 years and is ardent in growing Christian non-profits to change the world.

Some may call her and her husband, Ellery, the Chip, and Joanna Gaines of the Rockies, as they enjoy wandering the aisles of Lowes in their passion for remodeling projects around their Denver home.

Other hobbies include road trips with her family, and making and bottling her own wine. She has just entered the teen years with her children, raising a 13-year-old girl and an 11-year-old boy.

To complete her family, she has a beloved Bernedoodle named Ashton O’Malley.

David Laflin

David creatively shares the message of Jesus through the art of illusion. Whether it be a community event for families or filling a pulpit on a Sunday morning, David loves bringing the word of God to life and introducing people to Jesus!

His programs have been featured on Daystar Television, at the NCAA final four, and in numerous countries around the world.

David and his wife, Teesha, live in Colorado with their four kids- but they are often on the road traveling together and partnering with churches.

Jayna Pettersen is an Online Instructional Designer with a heart for equipping pastors, volunteers, congregations, and church plant leaders to reimagine how to deliver online discipleship and volunteer training without sacrificing high-touch impact. She holds a Master’s Degree in Global Leadership Development from Fuller Theological Seminary and teaches Practical Ministry courses at Southeastern University and Business Technology at Pierce College. She spent 6 years as the Director of Connections & Home Groups at Lighthouse Christian Center, overseeing 650 adults across 50 home groups.

Don Mahoney, President & Principal Architect - BGW Architects

Don has one of the most extensive backgrounds in worship and performing arts architecture in the U.S.

He has designed prominent facilities all across the country throughout his 37-year career and has been

recognized with several awards for innovative and creative church design, including multiple WFX Solomon

Awards for Best Church Architect, Best Church Design, Best Special Project, and Best Digital Church. Don is also a

recipient of the Lutheran Church Extension Fund Arts & Architecture Award for Best Liturgical Design.

Don specializes in helping ministries cast their vision during the very earliest stages of the project through creative master planning and preliminary design concepts. One of his passions and areas of expertise is performing arts design. He has led many marquee projects that involve high-level theatrical and performing arts components throughout his career.

Don has always emphasized the importance of maintaining a solid design approach in all budget environments by taking advantage of the free tools of architecture such as scale, proportion, texture, color, and form. He earned his Masters's Degree in Architecture from the University of Utah in 1982 and formerly served as President of the American Institute of Architects for the State of Utah.

Dr. Josh Packard is Executive Director of Springtide Research Institute, which combines quantitative and qualitative research to reflect and amplify the lived realities of young people as they navigate shifting social, cultural, and religious landscapes. A talented speaker and writer with over 10 years of teaching experience, Josh has been a guest on numerous radio shows and podcasts and has been an invited speaker at many conferences, events, and workshops. He has been published widely in both academic and popular outlets, including Christianity Today, The Aspen Institute, The Huffington Post, Desert News, and Christian Science Monitor, among others.  Josh earned his Ph.D. in sociology from Vanderbilt University.

My formal education is in Child and Family Studies, but my true education is from my experiences as a member of a vibrant community, living on a multi-generational farm, and stepping out in faith whenever God calls me.

Matt Overton is a youth pastor from Vancouver, Washington that has been doing Youth Ministry for 20 years. He is the founder of www.youthministryinnovators.com and The Columbia Future Forge. The Forge is an award-winning organization that combines youth ministry and redemptive entrepreneurship. He is an author, speaker, innovator, and occasionally consults with churches and organizations trying to innovate in youth ministry. He has also written numerous articles on innovation, social enterprise, and youth ministry. He has a short practical book on his ministry and model called “Mentorship and Marketplace: A New Direction for Youth Ministry”. His work has been called by Mark Ostreicher, "The first new idea in youth ministry in 15 years.”

A youth ministry "Lifer," Phil has been serving in youth ministry since the mid-'90s. Most recently, Phil served as the youth pastor at Laurelwood Baptist Church in Vancouver, WA, for 13 years. He replaced himself with one of his students and transitioned to the National Network of Youth Ministries. He now serves NNYM, building youth leader networks as the WA State Coordinator and the NW Coordinator of Engagement and Training. 

Corey Greaves

Corey, along with Gina (wife), founded Mending Wings in 2006 and has watched it grow to be one of the country's largest spirituality-based youth organizations. They have four children (Steven, Kathleen, Carissa, and Matea) and make their home in Toppenish, WA. on the Yakama Reservation.

Corey has served as Youth Pastor for both the American Indian Evangelism Association/McKinley Indian Mission (where he pastored the largest Native American youth ministry in the Restoration Movement churches—Churches of Christ/Christian Church denominations—and the Central Washington Presbytery, where he facilitated the growth of the largest Native American youth ministry in the Presbyterian Church, USA.

Corey is a gifted speaker who holds a passion for his people and a deep love for the Creator. He speaks at colleges, universities, churches, youth groups, and organizations across the U.S. He seeks to bring reconciliation between the Church and Native people by dealing with real issues, both historical and contemporary.

Steve was born and raised in Maple Valley, Washington. He holds a degree in Construction Engineering Management (OSU), Vocational Education (CWU), and Instructional Technology. (GCU).

For 26 years, Steve served as the founding Director of Youth at Maple Valley Church. Today he continues to support MVC in an assistant role and leads young adult Bible study. Steve’s other endeavors include coaching football (since 1986) and working with the leadership program (since 1990) at Tahoma High School, as well as running his own custodial and sound businesses. He’s been married for over 30 years to his wife Suze, a Snoqualmie Valley School District teacher.  Together, they are passionate about investing in the next generation, building relationships, and being a small part of God's mission to change lives for eternity.
