Alysha Abrams
I feel that God has called me to work with children and I take that calling very seriously. I have a passion to teach them that they are wonderfully made by their Heavenly Father. I believe that to fully prepare our children to step out into the world they must accept and celebrate the beauty that makes them unique. If each child can learn to be confident in whom they are as little individuals, everything else has a way of falling into place. My passion for cultural studies comes from having an extremely diverse family background, and loving the fact that our God created a coloring and beautiful world that deserves to be celebrated.

Kelli VanEss
Kelli has been a part of the HCA staff since 2010. She recognizes the great importance of sharing the gospel with the littlest students and loves how HCA incorporates the love of Christ in every bit of our time with the kids! She considers herself a Southern girl (from Arkansas) and lived there until 1999 when her family moved to the Pacific Northwest. She’s been married to her husband, Jeff, since 1989, and we have 3 adult sons.
Her hobbies include scrapbooking and leading bible studies. When her family hangs out together, they enjoy hiking, travel, and, of course, football! She is currently working on her Masters in Early and Special Education at GCU.
